An alternative approach to healing.
Preparation, integration, and psychotherapy support for adults exploring ketamine treatment for complex trauma and treatment-resistant depression.
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for adults navigating complex trauma and treatment-resistant depression.
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) offers a different way to explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that may feel difficult to access through traditional talk therapy alone.
As a mental health counselor with specialized training in KAP, I provide preparation, integration, and psychotherapy support for people exploring ketamine treatment. When appropriate, I also offer in-office dosing sessions with prescribed oral ketamine.
I do not prescribe ketamine. Medical evaluation, prescribing, and medication management are provided by an outside psychiatrist, medical provider, or ketamine clinic. If you're interested in exploring ketamine treatment, I can help connect you with an appropriate provider.

Your Questions, Answered
-
KAP combines ketamine treatment with psychotherapy before and after the ketamine experience.
Ketamine can temporarily shift perception, emotions, attention, and one's sense of self. For some people, this can create an opportunity to step outside familiar patterns and approach thoughts, emotions, memories, or questions from a new perspective.
The therapeutic work happens both before and after the experience. Preparation helps you feel informed and grounded and gives us an opportunity to explore your intentions. Integration helps you make sense of what emerged and consider how it might inform your life moving forward.
My approach is collaborative and depth-oriented. I don't believe there is one "right" way to experience ketamine or one interpretation of what comes up. Instead, we stay curious about your experience and what it may have to offer.

There are two primary ways I support clients pursuing ketamine treatment.
Ketamine treatment through another provider
If you receive IV, IM, or another form of ketamine treatment through a clinic or medical provider, I can provide the psychotherapy support around that treatment.
Preparation: We explore your goals, intentions, questions, and what to expect.
Ketamine treatment: Your medical provider or clinic handles the medication and medical aspects of treatment.
Integration: We meet afterward to explore your experience, reflect on what emerged, and consider how to bring meaningful insights into your everyday life.
Preparation and integration are available in person or via telehealth.
In-office oral KAP
If an outside psychiatrist or medical provider has prescribed oral ketamine for you, we can incorporate dosing sessions into your psychotherapy with me.
Before your first dosing session, we'll prepare together and establish a comfortable framework for the experience. During the session, you'll take your prescribed medication according to your provider's instructions and have a private, comfortable space to rest. I remain present with you throughout the experience.
Dosing sessions are longer than standard therapy appointments and are primarily inward-focused. There may be periods when little conversation is needed; my role is to provide a supportive therapeutic presence rather than direct or interpret your experience.
Your prescribing provider remains responsible for your medical care, including determining your dose, monitoring your safety, and managing your prescription.
-
Integration is where we slow down and explore what your experience may mean for you.
You may notice new perspectives, emotions, memories, questions, or patterns. Sometimes these things make immediate sense; sometimes their meaning unfolds over time.
In integration, we might explore:
What you experienced during your session
Emotions, memories, or insights that surfaced
Shifts in how you see yourself or your relationships
Patterns that became more visible
How to translate meaningful insights into everyday life
There is no need to have a profound experience or a particular takeaway. Integration is about making space for your experience and discovering what you want to carry forward.

No. If you're interested in exploring ketamine treatment but don't currently have a prescribing provider, you can reach out to me.
During a consultation, we can talk about what you're looking for and whether KAP might be appropriate. When appropriate, I can provide referrals to medical providers or ketamine practices based on your individual needs.
-
My psychotherapy fees apply to preparation, integration, and in-office dosing sessions when applicable. Dosing sessions are priced differently from standard therapy appointments because they require additional time and my presence throughout the experience.
The medical portion of ketamine treatment, including evaluation, prescribing, and medication management, is provided separately by your psychiatrist, medical provider, or ketamine clinic.
We can discuss fees and the structure of your care during your consultation.

KAP isn't right for everyone, and ketamine treatment should always begin with an appropriate medical evaluation.
You don't need to know whether KAP is right for you before reaching out. We can talk about what you're hoping to address, what kind of support you're looking for, and whether this approach makes sense for you.
